noelle banna

Noelle was raised around various individuals who struggled with different psychological issues. These issues negatively altered their judgment and led them to have visible mood swings, engage in impulsive behavior, or act uncharacteristically towards their loved ones. Because the illnesses went untreated, Noelle's childhood is considered to be one that was fairly unsteady and difficult for someone young to live through. She often had to parent herself and weave around extraneous obstacles that other children her age did not have to face. Watching Noelle's close friends live within healthy families that spent much time together was painful and confusing for her. She constantly wondered why this had to be happening to her in particular and why everyone else got to enjoy normal time with their loved ones who were healthy. As she grew older, Noelle began to understand that God has a unique plan for each of His children and that her life did not have to progress in the same way as those around her. The verse Jeremiah 29:11 portrays this perfectly: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." After years of confusion about why this was happening, Noelle's entire perspective shifted as she now believed that God was only trying to make her stronger and more resilient. Overcoming these obstacles enabled her to tackle any challenge head-on in the future. She was now also more emotionally intelligent and understanding of others' actions and behavior.

At EPHS, Noelle served as President of the Spanish Honor Society and as a Co-Vice President of the National Honor Society. She was also a member of FCCLA, Key Club, Beta Club, Student Government, HOSA, and participated in track and Cross Country. She is an AP and Honors student with a 3.9 GPA.

In her free time, she enjoys running, spending time in nature, and creating art in various ways.

Noelle will attend Kennesaw State University in the Fall with a major in Psychology.
